现代生活中塑料制品随处可见,关于其危害也早就形成共识。科学研究发现,不同的塑料品种在环境中可以存在数十年到数百年不等,稳定的聚乙烯制品可以在土壤环境中存在超过400年,在海洋环境中存在时间会更长。而降解塑料在土壤或堆肥环境中一般会在6个月内完全降解成二氧化碳和水。因此,推广降解塑料,是解决塑料污染问题的有效手段。
